True meaning of Yoga

Yoga means Union with the Absolute. It is a state of perfect awareness, unblemished by any mental formations. Yoga Postures done in the right spirit are helpful in realizing this state of mindful silence.

Z Meditative Yoga  aims to achieve stability of mind by doing these Yoga postures in a meditative spirit. There is emphasis on mindfulness while doing the postures. We have carefully selected certain postures that strengthen all parts of the body. These Postures can be done by people of all ages.

At Z Meditation Center, we don’t believe in increasing the difficulty level of the postures to attain mastery in Yoga. We rather work on the mind while doing these postures.

The following Yoga postures have been carefully selected to take care of your entire body – especially the back and the abdominal organs. You can run the the three videos of ten minutes each or download the entire session of thirty five minutes. Run it daily and practice mindfully. For these thirty-five minutes, let your flow of concentration be like the flow of oil from one vessel into another -- smooth and free from interruptions.

When you take a position in Yoga, be aware of the stretched organs and visualize those parts illumined with white light. Even while going into or coming out of the posture, remain aware. Let not the mind wander. Follow the instructions closely and you will find yourself rejuvenated for the entire day.

Meditation for today

Saving your precious energies, direct them all towards the realization of the Self. Let the mind merge in the heart. If it has several other desires at the same time, your love for the Self will never become one pointed. Unless there is absolute one-pointedness, there will not be stability in contemplation. If contemplation is unstable, how can there be the most sublime experience of the Self? ~ Ajay Kapoor
