Preparations for joining the retreats

For joining Z Meditation Retreats, it is necessary that you prepare yourself beforehand. It is going to be a life transforming experience. It will require unflinching openness to growth. Coming prepared will be helpful.

1. Practice The Simple Awareness Exercise for one hour each on three different days. You will have an idea about the turbulence of your mind. You will also gain an understanding that you must do something about it soon. If you leave it on its own, it is not going to evolve.

2. Study Z Meditation Technique understanding the purpose of Z Meditation work which is based on an analytical method of Deep Deconditioning Inquiry and Radiant Mantras. This work on the mind is non sectarian in nature as is based on the rational method of Inquiry in order to arrive at a state of unconditioned peace, love and freedom.

3. Go through all the links under Home. This will give you necessary information about the meaning and purpose of meditation. You will also understand the benefits of this work as well as the location & serene beauty around Z Meditaiton Center.

4. Watch DeConditioning Inquiry videos and understand how the deeply hidden conditionings cause suffering and how you can come out of them and realize peace and happiness.

5. Watch
Deep Sharing Videos and understand how meditation can be a life changing experience. With that, if you can study the testimonials of the old students, you will get to have deep knowledge of the effects of meditation.

6. Study Logistics & Checklist and all the links under this head. You will learn about the code of conduct at the Center, the purpose of silence and what a day looks like when you are doing the retreat.

7. If possible, study the three books by Ajay before coming to the retreat. You will be in a much better position to understand the teachings.

Meditation for today

Saving your precious energies, direct them all towards the realization of the Self. Let the mind merge in the heart. If it has several other desires at the same time, your love for the Self will never become one pointed. Unless there is absolute one-pointedness, there will not be stability in contemplation. If contemplation is unstable, how can there be the most sublime experience of the Self? ~ Ajay Kapoor
